Experience the Celestial Aura of Srikalahasti Temple

Perched on the banks of the Swarnamukhi River, the Srikalahasti Temple is famed for its Vayu (wind) element shrine—one of the Panchabhuta Sthalams. Dedicated to Lord Shiva as Kalahasteeswara, its towering gopuram and intricate stone carvings date back over a millennium.

Pilgrims come to witness the miraculous “moving lamp” inside the sanctum sanctorum, said to float on air currents. The temple’s majestic chariot festival in March–April draws crowds for its vibrant processions.
